Kurnell 15th March 2009

Dive No. 338.
10.20 am, 17 degrees, 45 mins, 12.5 max, 9.8 av
Club spud hunt, and for the first time I found one, as did my buddies Liz and Sharon G (I won a pair of fins). Great vis in the cold current; the sponge gardens at Kurnell are fantastic. Weedy sea dragon, two ghost pipefish, funny blue groper, large octopus.

Harbord 14th March 2009

Dive No. 337.
11.12 am, 20 degrees, 51 mins, 11.5 max, 8.5 av
Typically surge-y dive at Harbord, the vis affected by the sand whipped up by the swell. Getting in and out was challenging too. Buddied with Liz and Kirsty. Moorish idols, different types of leatherjackets, octopus, schools of bream, pomfret and bullseyes.

Bare Island 7th March 2009

Dive No. 336 10.40 am, 23 degrees, 57 mins, 13.2 max, 8.5 av
Terrible vis and a strong current but it was enjoyable to get back in the water after more than a month sans diving. Moray, friendly blue groper, numerous flatworms, schools of pomfret, yellowtail and bullseyes. Buddied with Julian and Anna.
